ββ QUESTIONS
Everything you might ask before buying.
The Verus headrest is a factory-integrated option β it is specified at the time of ordering the Verus Chair and built into the back frame during production. It is not available as a standalone retrofit for an existing Verus Chair. If you already own a Verus without a headrest and want to add neck support, please contact our team to discuss options.
The Verus headrest adjusts in height only. Grasp the headrest and slide it up or down along the back frame track until it meets the nape of your neck at the desired position. No tools are required β the headrest holds its position via friction fit on the frame track. For upright work, position it lower to support the nape; for reclined use, slide it higher to support the base of the skull.
With the headrest, total chair height is 115.5β134.9 cm (depending on seat height and headrest position). Without the headrest, total height is 99.8β110.0 cm. Seat height range is identical in both configurations: 43.4β53.8 cm. The headrest adds approximately 15.7β24.9 cm of total chair height.
Yes. Because it is a first-party Herman Miller option integrated at the production stage, the headrest is matched exactly to your chosen back type (Interweave 2, TriFlex, or Upholstered) and frame finish (Black or Mineral). There is no colour mismatch or visible difference in material quality between the headrest and the rest of the chair.
Yes β the headrest option is available with all three Verus back types: Interweave 2 Suspension, TriFlexβ’ Polymer, and Upholstered. The headrest surface material and frame are matched to whichever back type you select. Specify at the time of ordering.
No. The Verus headrest is a first-party Herman Miller component β integrated into the back frame during production and matched in material to the chair. Third-party headrests (such as the Atlas Headrest, which is designed for the Aeron and Embody) are separate aftermarket products that attach externally. The Verus headrest provides height-only adjustment; the Atlas provides height, depth, and tilt on separate axes. Both approaches are valid β the key difference is that the Verus headrest is built into the chair, while the Atlas is an accessory added after purchase.
Yes β the Verus Chair with Headrest is available in our Almaty showroom. We recommend sitting in it for at least 10 minutes and adjusting the headrest to your natural neck position to confirm the fit before placing an order.
Yes. The headrest is covered in full by Herman Miller's 12-year, 3-shift warranty as an integral part of the Verus Chair β not as a separate accessory with a reduced guarantee. All warranty service is handled locally in Kazakhstan.
Yes. Delivery is available across Kazakhstan and the CIS region, with professional installation available in Almaty.
