Trace Rest Coffee Table

The Ø600 mm (TRA600D) is the smaller and heavier of the two at 15.7 kg, suited to use beside a single chair or at the end of a two-seat sofa. The Ø800 mm (TRA800D) at 11.2 kg is the principal coffee table size and works well as a centrepiece for a three-seat sofa or a full lounge seating group. If you are unsure which size is right for your space, as a general rule: allow at least 30 cm clearance between the table edge and the nearest seat edge for comfortable reach, and at least 40 cm clearance to walkways.

The weight difference comes from the top material. On the Ø800 mm, the larger diameter top (in glass or marble) contributes more to total weight — but because the frame itself is proportionally lighter relative to the larger diameter, and because top material weight varies significantly between configurations, the fully assembled weight depends heavily on which top is specified. The weights listed are NaughtOne's published figures for the standard clear glass configuration.

All top materials are available on both round sizes. The clear toughened glass top is the most visually open option — the circular frame reads as a pure graphic object, and the floor beneath the table remains visible. The marble top adds material weight and presence to the piece — the circular form suits marble particularly well as it avoids the corners where edge chipping is most common on rectangular tops. The veneer options (oak and walnut) give the round table a warmth that suits residential and hospitality settings. The reverse-painted glass in the available frame colours (Red, Blue, or Graphite) creates the opportunity for a fully tonal piece — frame and top in the same colour — which is very effective in the circular format.

On circular Trace tables, glass and marble tops have a square polished edge; veneer tops have a matching veneered square edge; MDF and linoleum tops have a square polished MDF edge. This differs from the rectangular and square versions, where the top sits within the frame in a slightly different configuration. The square edge profile is consistent across all circular models regardless of top material.
