Everything you might ask before buying.
Almost none. The Kinematic Spine self-adjusts to your weight and movement the moment you sit — there is nothing to tilt, lock, or configure. The only manual control is the pneumatic height lever on the multipurpose chair and stool. The side chair requires no adjustments at all.
The Kinematic Spine is built into Setu's back frame using two types of polypropylene — each chosen for different stiffness properties — to control resistance and support as you recline. It bends and flexes with every movement, providing the same responsive feel from chair to chair without any manual setup.
The standard Intercept Suspension is a breathable, temperature-neutral elastomeric mesh that adapts to your sitting bones and keeps air circulating. The upholstered version adds a C-Layer beneath the fabric — a structural support layer that gives the softness of upholstery without sacrificing ergonomic form. Both use the same Kinematic Spine.
Dipped in Color gives the entire Setu — suspension, frame, arms, and base — a single, uniform hue from top to bottom in Nightfall, Glacier, or Canyon. These versions also include Quiet Roll casters specifically designed for hard-floor environments.
Setu is available as a Multipurpose Chair (height-adjustable, ideal for task and desk use), a Side Chair (fixed height with glides, for meeting rooms and guest seating), and a Stool (extended height range for counter-height or standing-desk environments).
