Diameter 47.25" (120.0 cm), height 28.25" (71.8 cm). Seats 4–5 people. Published weight for the laminate/veneer configuration is 76 lb (34.5 kg).
All three are at the same 28.25" height and use the same construction. The 42" (42.25" diameter) seats 4 with standard spacing. The 47" (47.25" diameter) seats 4 generously or 5 with comfort — the additional 5" of diameter adds approximately 15" of circumference, which is felt immediately at the table. The 54" seats 4–6 and uses a larger 26" base foot. If you regularly dine as four and occasionally need five, the 47" is the precise answer. If you need to seat six regularly, move to the 54".
The 26" base foot is used on the 54" and 60" tables where the greater diameter span requires additional stability. At 47.25" diameter, the 20" base provides full structural integrity — Saarinen calculated this precisely. The 47" and 42" both use the 20" base.
Tops: laminate (White or Black), wood veneer (six options), marble (six stones in coated or uncoated finish), and granite (Black Andes). Base: White, Matte Black, or Grey Rilsan®-coated cast aluminium. Contact our team to specify.
