The slings are 100% natural cotton canvas in a greige/natural colourway. The canvas is taut like the leather slings — stretched across and attached to the tubular steel frame at the seat, back, and both armrests. The canvas has a different feel from leather: softer in hand, slightly more textural, and naturally less formal.
Natural cotton canvas is a durable material in normal indoor residential and commercial use. The leather slings will last decades with periodic conditioning; the canvas slings have a similar lifespan in careful indoor use but are more susceptible to staining than leather. Avoid saturating the canvas or using harsh chemicals. Contact our team for specific guidance.
