Care Instructions

Chrome Base: Wipe with a clean, slightly damp soft cloth. Dry immediately and completely to prevent tarnishing. Never use abrasives or solvent cleaners.

Fabric Cushions: Vacuum or brush periodically, especially around the grid lines where dust settles. Blot stains gently using a textile-appropriate cleaner; do not rub.

Leather Cushions: Wipe with a dry or very minimal damp cloth, treating button areas with care. Use specialized leather cleaners and condition periodically to preserve suppleness.

The standard Florence Knoll Sofa, Three Seater (this listing) has a 17.5"H seat height with welted, tufted cushions in multi-density foam. The Florence Knoll Relaxed Sofa, Three Seater (listed separately) is nearly 3" deeper, with polyester fiberfill added to the tufted seat and back for a softer, more relaxed sit, and the cushions are not welted. Both share the same exposed chrome frame and tufted grid aesthetic.

This is a deliberate design distinction. On leather, each tuft point is finished with a matching button — a detail that reads as more tailored and traditional, consistent with the material weight of leather. On fabric, the tufting is buttonless, giving a cleaner, more graphic reading of the same grid. Both are correct to Florence Knoll's original specification for their respective materials.
