Embody Chair

Pixelated Support™ is a dynamic matrix of individual polymer pixels embedded in both the seat and backrest. Unlike foam or mesh which respond as one continuous surface, each pixel moves independently — conforming to your body's micro-movements in real time, distributing weight evenly, reducing pressure points, and allowing air to circulate beneath you as you sit. You feel it immediately: a sense of floating, yet perfectly balanced.

BackFit™ is a manual dial on the rear of the backrest that lets you adjust the angle of the back to precisely match your own spinal curve. Once set, the back continuously adapts to your movement — whether you're leaning forward into your screen or reclining — maintaining support through every position. It is the primary personalisation control on the Embody and takes about 30 seconds to dial in.

Embody supports the entire spine from bottom to top: PostureFit® sacral support at the base, lumbar support in the mid-back, and thoracic support in the upper back. The central spine and flexible rib structure of the backrest mirrors the anatomy of the human spine, bending and adapting rather than holding you rigidly in place.

Two handles on either side of the seat allow you to slide the seat pan forward or backward by up to 7.6 cm (3 inches), locking in 6 positions. This adjusts how much support you get under your thighs and is particularly important for taller or shorter users. Correct seat depth ensures your knees are at the right angle and reduces pressure behind the thighs.

Embody uses a synchro-tilt mechanism with 18° of body-weight-controlled recline. Tilt tension is adjustable via a 10-position knob calibrated for users weighing 47–136 kg. A tilt limiter lets you set maximum recline at one of 3 incremental positions, and a tilt lock lets you secure the chair in the upright position. The arms move with you as you recline, so you are never left without support.
