For standing: stand upright, bend your elbow to 90°, and measure from the floor to your elbow — this is your ideal standing height. Programme both heights into the memory presets and switch between them throughout the day.

The motor operates at under 50 decibels — approximately the sound level of a quiet library or a low whisper. It will not interrupt a call or a meeting and is unlikely to disturb a person in the same room.

At 25mm/s the desk moves through its full 49cm range of travel in approximately 20 seconds. In practice, most users adjust by 20–30cm between sitting and standing positions, which takes around 10 seconds.
