The Molded seat is injection-moulded glass-filled nylon — the same material as the back. It is contoured and perforated, comfortable for typical meeting and conference use, and easy to clean. The FLEXNET™ seat (a material by Milliken & Co.) is a woven suspension surface that distributes body weight more evenly, minimising pressure points beneath the thighs and seat bones. The FLEXNET seat sits approximately 1.3 cm (0.5") higher than the Molded seat. For sessions that regularly run more than two hours, FLEXNET is the better choice. For high-frequency moving and stacking environments where ease of cleaning is the priority, the Molded seat is preferable.
Yes — the Caper Stacking Chair arms are field-removable and can be added or removed on site without tools. If you order without arms but later want to add them, arms are available as a service part. Contact our team for details.
The armless stacking chair stacks up to 6 high on the floor. With the Caper Cart (available separately), stacking height increases to 15 high — significantly reducing the floor space required for storage. The stacking chair with arms also stacks 6 high. The built-in handhold at the top of the back and the integrated bumpers make stacking and moving safe and surface-protective.
Ganging connectors link individual Caper Stacking Chairs side by side to create organised rows of seating — for presentations, lectures, ceremonies, or any setting where orderly fixed-row arrangement is needed. The connectors attach and detach without tools, so the chairs can be ungrouped and rearranged into informal clusters in minutes.
The Caper Stacking Chair is available in Studio White, Fog, Black, Red, Cappuccino, Turquoise, and Berry Blue seat and back colours, with frame finishes in Black or Metallic Silver. Colour is moulded into the nylon material — not applied as a paint or coating — which means it does not chip, peel, or fade as quickly as surface-applied colour.
