When a globally recognized corporation opens a flagship office in Central Asia, every design decision reflects and reinforces its brand. We partnered with one of the world's largest British-American tobacco corporations — a company with operations spanning more than 180 markets — to transform their Almaty headquarters into a Herman Miller and MillerKnoll-grade environment that gives physical form to their corporate identity. From the social hub to the meeting suite, every space was designed to express who they are — and to perform as hard as the people within it.

Challenge

Design a cohesive, brand-expressive multi-department office across a single large Almaty floor — where the corporation's distinctive visual identity, global workspace standards, and the daily ergonomic needs of a varied, high-performing workforce all needed to coexist without compromise.

Solution

Sayl task chairs across all primary workstations, delivering the ergonomic foundation for intensive office work. Sayl meeting and breakout chairs in customized upholstery colors drawn directly from the corporation's brand palette — a deliberate statement of identity through furniture.

Result

A landmark Herman Miller and MillerKnoll installation that has become one of the most visually distinctive corporate workspaces in Almaty — an office where brand character and ergonomic excellence are equally present in every square metre, and where employees report a measurably stronger sense of pride and connection to the workplace.
